[1] BoB's neither aliens nor NPCs, to my knowledge. Every system below 0.9 is invested with scads on NPC rats. What makes you think some kind of alien faction would be more interesting? I don't see any reason to introduce inhuman things when we've already got Sanshas and Blood Raiders and all kinds of semi-psychotic organizations running around out there.
